A charming country cottage sitting proudly on its own site, set back from the road on a gentle elevation. With woodlands to the back and stunning south facing views of the Cairngorms, this is the very essence of Highland tranquility. It lies within the Cairngorm National Park and is a mere half-a-mile from the centre of the village of Carrbridge, Inverness-shire. It is set in an ideal location for anyone feeling the least bit stressed or just needing something different.Within its half-acre garden it offers an abundance of wild life from woodpecker to red squirrel, buzzard to bullfinch, robin to roe deer (the latter hopefully outside the garden amongst the Juniper bushes from which the cottage takes its name). The village (nine hole) golf course is next door and within the village itself is a range of hotels, restaurants and the famous Landmark Heritage Park.
At all times of the year there is an abundance of things to do - bird watching, walking, fishing, cycling and sailing on Loch Morlich. Nearby there are many lochs and whisky trails to explore. In the winter skiing is just 30 minutes away and it is only 30 minutes drive to the sandy shores of the Moray Firth with its famous resident dolphin population.
The cottage is furnished and equipped with everything you may expect at home and perhaps a little more. We can say without hesitation, no one has ever been disappointed.
